• Participation in standardization of obsolescence management (VDMA, IEC, DKE) 
• Honorary Vice President of the umbrella organization International Institute of Obsolescence Managements, President and Board Member of the Component Obsolescence Group Germany (COGD) until 2022  
• 15 years managing director and owner of the companies D+D+M Daten- und Dokumentations-Management (IT development) and GMP German Machine Parts (obsolete spare parts, OM, spare parts management) 
• Industries: Automotive, electrical engineering, ITC, mechanical engineering, precision mechanics/optics, aircraftconstruction, mobility 
• 19 years at Siemens AG, Public Networks Division, last as senior manager
